our team

bec elliott

registered psychologist

  • In my time as a Psychologist, I've worked in both private practice, and various public health programs including the headspace Primary Care and Early Psychosis programs, and the Youth Enhanced Support Service (YESS). This range of experiences has provided me with the privilege of getting to know people from so many diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique story.

As a Queer AuDHDer myself, I practice from a Neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and Health at Every Size (HAeS) perspective. I provide support for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, complex trauma and PTSD, gender and sexuality concerns, and disordered eating/body image. Specifically, I am passionate about supporting Neurodivergent and/or Queer adolescents and adults to understand who they are, and empowering them to create the life they want and deserve.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time playing video games, doing arts and crafts, watching King of the Hill reruns, and hanging out with my menagerie of pets (Bowser, Daisy, Atlas, Link and Lenny say hi!)

(BAPsych&Phil, MCouns&PsychTh)
ACA #16084

  • I am an ACA registered counsellor with a Master degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and over 8 years of experience working with a range of diverse clients under the NDIS, through community mental health programs, and as a school counsellor.

Some of the concerns I have supported my clients through include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulties with social skills, relationships, and trauma. I particularly enjoy working with children and young people using creative approaches such as art and play in therapy. I work closely with all my clients to tailor my counselling approach to their individual goals and to be sure they feel comfortable in their sessions.

When I’m not at work you can usually find me working on an oil painting, going on a hike, or at the theatre enjoying a musical!
