counselling

Irene provides counselling services for clients ages 3+ in person at our office in Elderslie, or via Telehealth.

NDIS Counselling: NDIS support can be provided for plan-managed and self-managed NDIS plans that contain funding for counselling. Irene will help you to address the relevant goals in your plan, and can provide observations and report writing for NDIS plan reviews.

Victims Services: Irene is registered to provide support for people who have access to counselling through the Victim’s Support Scheme.

Private counselling: Private counselling can be provided for those who don’t have an NDIS or Victim’ Services funding. Irene’s counselling approach is person-centered and flexible to fit within her client’s needs and concerns. Some concerns she commonly works with include anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, confidence and situational stressors.

Bec provides psychological support for individuals aged 13 and up in person at our Elderslie office, or via Telehealth.

Assessments: Screening and assessment for various disorders may be conducted as part of your psychological intervention. Bec also offers formal diagnostic assessments for:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Gender Dysphoria (to provide supporting documentation for accessing gender-affirming care)

NDIS Psychology: Psychological support can be provided for self- and plan-managed NDIS participants with funding for Psychology. Psychological support for NDIS participants will be tailored to your individual goals, and Bec can provide observations and reports for NDIS plan reviews. 

Mental Health Treatment Plan: Individuals with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from a GP can access Medicare rebates for focused psychological intervention for a range of mental health concerns, including:

  • Mood disorders 

  • Anxiety disorders

  • PTSD

  • Personality disorders

Eating Disorder Plan: Individuals with an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) from a GP can access focused psychological intervention for eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.

Private Psychology: For those without GP treatment plans or NDIS funding, Bec can provide private psychological support tailored to your specific concerns. These may include situational stressors, bullying, body image concerns, and relationship issues. 

Assessments: Screening and assessment for various disorders may be conducted as part of your psychological intervention. Formal assessment, diagnosis and reporting of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, and assessments of functional capacity are also available.
